My name is Tamsin Scott and I am very happy to welcome you to Baby Sensory Benfleet!
I have been working in child care on and off for 9 years and have always loved watching babies and children grow and develop and their fascination with the world around them.
Whilst at school, I took any chance I could to work with childrens groups, in schools or volunteer at children’s centres and after completing my A-levels I took my first nannying job to save up to go to university and just loved it!
During university, where I studied English with Media studies, I took part in the Gateway to Teaching Scheme and also had a part time nannying job, looking after new born twins. It was the most rewarding job I had ever had!
After university I ended up working in an office in the city but I always knew I wanted to return to working with children one day. After four and a half years I called it a day and left London life to return to nannying. It was during my time as a nanny that I discovered Baby Sensory. I took the children to the classes, which were fantastic and I instantly wanted to learn more and get involved.
I am now so excited to be running my own Baby Sensory sessions, which enable me to continue working with children and use all the skills I have learnt from my previous experience.
I look forward to welcoming you to my Baby Sensory classes. Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information about a no-obligation trial session.
Our award winning Baby Sensory classes run weekly at four venues across Hadleigh, Benfleet and Rayleigh.
Hadleigh Methodist Church has a car park at the front of the church and parents can also park in the road. The venue is easily accessible, just on the corner of the London Road and Chapel Lane. Quick and easy to get to from Thundersley, Daws Heath, Benfleet, Rayleigh and Canvey Island. Lovely central location.
Rookery View Hall is a fantastic new hall in Benfleet. To get to it, you'll need to follow Watlington Road under the railway bridge, past the farm, and the hall is the old scout hut (now converted!) on your left. There is a car park next to the hall. The hall is perfect to get to from South Benfleet, situated on the Jotmans Estate, so nice and close for those coming from Canvey Island as well.
Kids Klub is the new name for the soft play centre that was Farmer Fred's Play Barn, situated on the Manor Trading estate. To access the venue, please follow Brunel Rd to the end, then bear right around the back of the units. Kids Klub will be on your left, with its car park opposite, on your right.
Rayleigh Methodist Church is very central, on Rayleigh Rd, nice and close to the High Street. It has a car park at the front, and access to the hall is via the side door, just before the pre-school.
Our 1 hour sessions in Hadleigh, Benfleet and Rayleigh are £7.50 per class, payable termly in advance.
Our 45min sensory sessions at The Paddocks are £6 per class, payable termly in advance.
Most terms are 6 weeks long, however this may vary as we follow school terms.
Your first session is a no-obligation trial, so if you change your mind, you will get a full refund, without quibble.
